Title: Financial Operations Analyst I
Pay Rate: $31.00/hr
Location: Work from Home (Candidate MUST live in the CST timezone)
Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8:00AM – 5:00PM CST
Ideal candidates for the Financial Operations Analyst position will be ambitious, motivated, and eager individuals looking to work for an industry-leading, Fortune 7 Company. This position is a part of our Financial Operations Department within the PBM Finance Registration Team. This position will be responsible for working with a dynamic and skilled group which manages finance implementations for all new and existing client implementations within the PBM business.
This position will play an instrumental role in the success of our Rebate Registration Team. Successful candidates will display curiosity, creativity, and technical acumen, which will allow them to identify implementation needs and work towards process efficiencies. This role reviews client pricing terms, identifying inaccuracies, and ultimately completing pricing implementation within our rebate system. They will also support various requests and provide feedback on client setups to identify potential issues which could result in a financial misstatement.
This role will work individually as well as across departments with team members, internal partners, and clients to ensure all PBM financial setups accurately capture our PBM clients’ intent and contractual agreements. They will manage workflows and ensure deliverables are completed in alignment with targeted metrics/goals, promptly and proactively resolving issues that arise from internal controls and/or service failures. They will deliver on key enterprise initiatives, supporting the Finance Registration Team and other internal departments throughout the financial implementation process.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage work flows and ensure deliverables are completed in alignment with project timelines
- Gather and document client/contractual requirements; capture and document all project artifacts
- Identify potential impacts to existing processes and ensure necessary actions are taken to implement required functionality/setups to support PBM agreements
- Lead efforts to develop and enhance existing systems functionality, where needed
- Provide necessary training to impacted areas, as required, and develop new policies and procedures
- Partner with external business areas to identify risks and ensure new functionality/processes are flawlessly implemented in alignment with project timelines; determine impacts to current systems
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve existing system functionality and processes
- Develop business proposals and justification for identified process improvements which will be presented to internal partners and senior leadership
Position Requirements:
- 1+ years of professional work experience
- 1+ years of intermediate skills in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience Identifying business requirements and creating project documentation
- Experience reviewing client contracts and/or interrupting contractual agreements to drive business requirement discussions
- Demonstrated ability to initiate and lead projects which align with enterprise objectives
- Experience identifying process inefficiencies and providing recommendation to management on how to resolve
- Proven record of organizing cross-functional teams which work to identify and resolve issues with a broad organizational impact to the business and PBM clients
- PBM and/or healthcare industry experience preferred
- Experience working with internal/external clients preferred
- Experience working in a cross-functional team environment preferred
- Experience with Salesforce preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, or equivalent work experience required
