Job Description
Now Hiring: Flu Clinic Nurse (LPN/LVN)
Pay Rate: $37.17/hour
Schedule: Part-Time | 20 hours per week including every other weekend | 2-3 shifts weekly
Schedule Details
- Shifts range 7–10 hours during clinic operating hours (830a-730p- Weekdays; 9a-530p Sat; 9a-430p Sun)
- Work schedule created in 6-week blocks after 2 weeks of FT training/orientation- will transition to PT schedule following training
- Must be available for every other weekend and some major holidays
Overview
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you’ll provide one-on-one patient care in a supportive outpatient/retail-based clinic setting.
Responsibilities will include:
- Administering vaccines and injections (flu, COVID, TB tests, etc.)
- Taking and documenting patient vital signs
- Assisting providers in emergency situations when needed
- Registering, checking in, and checking out patients
- Supporting clinic operations (appointment scheduling, reminder calls, managing the waiting room)
- Preparing the clinic and waiting area for the best patient experience
- Delivering patient education and providing excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted LPN or LVN license in state of residence
- At least 1 year of experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room required
- Prior experience giving vaccines and injections required
- Ability to take vital signs and document in Epic EMR
- Current BLS certification
