A-Line Staffing is now hiring Fork Lift Operators in Plainfield, IN.
The Fork Lift Operator would be working for a reputable distribution center with career growth potential. This would be a full-time role with 40+ hours per week.

Fork Lift Operator Compensation
• The pay for this position is $18.75 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Fork Lift Operator Highlights
• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is 2nd Shift: 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM
Fork Lift Operator Responsibilities
• Load and off-load inbound and outbound shipments utilizing the WMS
• Report discrepancies between inventory counts and shipping/receiving documents
• Ensure safe loading/off-loading to prevent damage
• Retrieve products and replenish picking locations
• Assist in other warehouse roles as required, acting as backup during absences or vacations
Fork Lift Operator Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to obtain a forklift certification
• Ability to operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and use an RF scanner
• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents
• Basic analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills
• Proficient in the use of a PC
• Strong initiative and drive for results
• Mandatory attendance required for the first 90 days
Fork Lift Operator Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with multiple types of MHE: Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, Counterbalance Slip and Clamp, and Dock Stocker
Physical Demands
• This position requires frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs)
• Associate must have normal vision (corrected to 20/40) and sufficient hearing to safely operate MHE
Work Environment
• The work environment includes moderate to loud noise levels, exposure to moving mechanical equipment, and occasional exposure to fumes and airborne particles.
