FORKLIFT OPERATOR | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Four Oaks NC 27524 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $19.25/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time, Overnights | Monday – Thursday 9p-5a
FORKLIFT OPERATOR | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Forklift Operator will be operating a variety of material-handling equipment, including forklifts, to move parts, assemblies, and finished goods throughout the facility. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven warehouse environment.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
FORKLIFT OPERATOR | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to transport materials.
- Inventory & Records: Move finished products and goods within the warehouse while maintaining accurate records of material movement.
- Standard Procedures: Follow clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines to complete routine tasks.
- Facility Maintenance: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with co-workers and Team Leads to ensure production goals are met.
FORKLIFT OPERATOR | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- 1+ year of warehouse experience or related training.
- Forklift experience required
- Previous experience or certification in Forklift operation is required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move over 50 lbs. Comfortable with walking, standing, stooping, and reaching for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse (hot in summer/cold in winter) with moderate to loud noise levels.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and interpreting documents in English, along with basic math skills.
