FORKLIFT OPERATOR | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Four Oaks NC 27524 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $18/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
FORKLIFT OPERATOR | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Forklift Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of inventory, including loading, unloading, and picking products using a Warehouse Management System and RF scanners. This role ensures operational flow by replenishing picking locations and maintaining high standards of accuracy to prevent product damage or inventory discrepancies.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

FORKLIFT OPERATOR | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inventory Movement: Execute accurate outbound picking and efficient put-away of inbound products utilizing a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Loading/Unloading: Safely load and off-load pallets to maintain a secure work environment and prevent product damage.
- Documentation: Report any discrepancies between physical inventory counts and shipping/receiving documents.
- Replenishment: Locate, retrieve, and replenish picking locations to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Equipment Operation: Utilize RF scanners and operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
FORKLIFT OPERATOR | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Ability to read and interpret distribution documents; basic analytical and organizational skills.
- Preference given to candidates with experience operating Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, Counterbalance (slip/clamp), or Dock Stockers.
- Previous forklift experience required
- Safety Gear: Steel-toed shoes are mandatory.
Physical Demands
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for the duration of the shift.
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Visual acuity (corrected to 20/40) and sufficient hearing to safely operate heavy equipment in a distribution setting.
