FORKLIFT OPERATOR | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Four Oaks NC 27524 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $17.50/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
FORKLIFT OPERATOR | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Forklift Operator is responsible for the efficient movement of materials, parts, and finished goods within a distribution environment while adhering to strict safety and quality guidelines.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
FORKLIFT OPERATOR | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Material Handling: Operate a variety of equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks, to move products and assemblies throughout the facility.
- Operational Execution: Perform routine tasks and basic techniques within defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and scientific methods.
- Inventory & Records: Maintain accurate records of material movement and develop skills in specific operational processes such as logistics and manufacturing production.
- Performance: Operate effectively in a metrics-driven environment, performing basic math calculations and utilizing general computer skills as needed.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with co-workers and Team Leads to ensure smooth workflow and safety.
FORKLIFT OPERATOR | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- 1 year of warehouse or related experience/training.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend documents in English; basic analytical and operational process training.
- Certifications: Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses or certifications as required by the role.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, climb, and balance.
- Frequent use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motions.
- Must be able to lift and/or move over 50 lbs.
- Ability to work near moving mechanical parts and in various weather conditions.
