Location: Troy, MI (Hybrid)
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate senior level Application Developer/Architect who can design complex software solutions. Position Responsibilities
• Research, architect, and develop innovative, multi-tiered solutions using modern tools and methodologies with a goal for technical excellence
• Work closely with other Dev Architects and stakeholders to provide project estimates based on customer experiences, features, and envisioned solutions
• Implement rapid prototypes to evaluate solutions and ensure the feasibility of current and future technical designs
• Ensure architecture and design of the solution is in alignment with the overall enterprise architecture
• Solve problems and proactively look for ways to improve our products and platform
• Provide leadership in the future of core frameworks/APIs and design concepts when architecting applications
• Mentor Junior Software Architects/Engineers
Required Position Qualifications
• Strong experience in C# using OOAD principles
• Strong experience with the .NET Framework (.net v6+ experience preferred)
• Strong experience with SQL
• Proficient in developing solutions targeting Amazon Web Services (AWS); proficient in serverless development (AWS Lambda, etc.) and Step Functions/State Machines
• Proficient with Git, TFS/Azure DevOps
• Strong experience with Automated Testing
• Experience in rapid solution prototyping
Preferred Position Qualifications
• Experience with Linux Terminal
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker (Containers)
• Experience with Web API v2+, and a strong understanding of REST
• Experience in one or more of the following technologies; Octopus Deploy, Cloud Formation, or Terraform
• Experience with Angular v2+, Version 4+
• Experience using one or more of the following technologies; RxJS, NgRX (Store), or Jasmine/Karma
