Title: Senior Fullstack Web Application Developer IV

Location: Charlotte, NC (3-days onsite, 2-days remote Hybrid schedule)

Note: This is a W2 contract role – C2C and 3rd party candidates will NOT be considered

The Cloud Platform Team is seeking an innovative and passionate individual who can assist in the design, implementation, testing, support, and debugging of cloud-based applications and infrastructure. Ideal candidates for this role should have hands-on experience developing and deploying full-stack applications with cloud-native technologies in Amazon Web Services. In this role you will work closely with a team of engineers to ensure the efficient and secure operation of our cloud environments. Job responsibilities include;

  • Developing and deploying serverless components hosted on AWS cloud technology
  • Delivering end-to-end UI & API solutions, including planning, design, development, & testing
  • Leading the implementation of monitoring using various tools and collection of metrics to enhance visibility & implement alerting to enhance service reliability
  • Troubleshooting and resolving software and cloud-related issues, ensuring high availability and reliability
  • Researching and recommending new solutions based on the latest technologies, frameworks, and best practices
  • Participating in Agile delivery processes
  • Providing technical leadership and guidance to fellow team members
  • Interacting directly with partner teams and stakeholders

Job Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on software development experience
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services, such as Lambda, IAM, DDB, EventBridge, CloudWatch, S3, SQS, and/or API Gateway
  • Experience with at least one JavaScript framework, such as Vue.js, Node.js/Python, Javascript, and/or Typescript
  • Experience with Terraform, Gitlab, and CI/CD pipeline
  • Experience with browser-based technology, user interface development, responsive web design and engineering, and cross-browser compliant code
  • Experience developing containerized & serverless microservices
  • Ability to write, test, and debug Python APIs using frameworks, such as Flask and/or FastAPI
  • Experience with DevOps processes, including with tools such as Gitlab
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and HashiCorp Terraform
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including a collaborative team player ability and the ability to work in a matrixed environment across LOB’s
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to showcase work
  • Strategic thinking ability with an enterprise-wide perspective
  • Self-motivation and the ability to look for improvement opportunities
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant technical field; AWS Certified Cloud Developer or other relevant certification preferred
