Title: Graphic Designer II
Location: Medley, FL (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: $26.72/hr
Schedule: Mon – Fri, Standard Office Hours
This position is responsible for the creative execution and development of materials, including store signage, direct mailing, advertising, packaging, and circulars. The Graphic Designer must have advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, and a solid background in design. The Graphic Designer additionally must have demonstrated experience in graphic design disciplines, including an understanding of typography, color, layout, and best practices for web. They must be self-motivated, self-managed, and a good communicator and collaborator.
In addition to graphic design work, the Graphic Designer will support planogram image production responsibilities. This entails photographing individual products and recording SKUs and descriptions, along with product photos in the Image Tool. Images are to be photoshopped and resized in final preparation for ad placement; training will be provided for planogram image production.
Job Duties:
- Working closely with the Creative Manager on various design projects
- Providing design direction and ensuring that print projects are proceeding accordingly and meet creative and client expectations
- Leading the design team and working with colleagues and project business owners to design integrated campaign components for marketing, store brands, promotions, and merchandising
- Supporting creative and marketing strategies, and ensuring projects meet business and revenue goals
- Presenting viable, on-brand design concepts, incorporating feedback and deliver optimized assets that are production ready, ensuring that brand and style guidelines and overall site quality is met
- Organizing and managing days-to-day projects
- Developing and maintaining partnerships with internal partners
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of creative experience within Advertising/Marketing
- A minimum of 2 years at a senior design level
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Deep understanding and experience in graphic design disciplines, including layout, color, and typography
- Ability to understand and incorporate type, color, printing, production, and visual brand communication
- Ability to understand marketing and functional requirements documentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to clearly communicate design decisions and conceptual themes
- Excellent team player able to work within cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Graphic, or Interactive Design, Fine Arts, or other relevant field required
