Job Description
Title: Workday HRIS Consultant (Global Payroll) – Remote
Location: Remote (U.S.)
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week (8-hour shifts)
Pay: $48.74/hr
Summary
We’re hiring a Workday HRIS Consultant to support enterprise HR systems enhancements and day-to-day Workday functional support. This remote role is ideal for a hands-on Workday HRIS Consultant with strong Workday Global Payroll experience who can gather requirements, configure solutions, execute testing, and support deployments. Responsibilities
- Provide functional Workday support across multiple modules, with primary focus on Global Payroll
- Gather and document requirements for HRIS enhancement requests and process improvements
- Configure Workday solutions, update functional setups, and support implementation activities
- Create and execute test scripts; validate results and coordinate fixes through deployment
- Support deployment activities and post-deploy stabilization in a remote environment
- Research, analyze, design, maintain, and communicate functional processes and HR systems solutions
- Analyze HR data relationships across processes; identify root cause and enterprise impacts
- Develop and document HR business processes aligned to HR policies, programs, and service delivery needs
- Deliver solutions independently, escalating risks and issues as needed
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on Workday experience (Workday functional analyst, Workday HRIS consultant, HR systems)
- Strong experience supporting Workday Global Payroll (payroll processes, configuration, monitoring)
- Full lifecycle delivery experience: requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment
- Strong analytical skills with ability to diagnose data/process breakdowns and propose scalable solutions
- Strong documentation skills (process flows, functional requirements, change summaries)
- High computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent written/verbal communication and stakeholder partnership skills
- Ability to manage priorities, meet quality standards, and work independently with general guidance on new projects
