Director of Transplant Services - Perm/Direct Hire
(Peritoneal Dialysis experience required)
Location: Dallas, TX 75235
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hourly Range: $61 – $100 per hour
Position Overview
The Director of Transplant Services plays a key leadership role in achieving strategic goals related to transplant programs. This position is responsible for building and managing the operational framework, developing health professional training, coordinating patient education, and driving community outreach initiatives. The Director will collaborate with clinical and executive leadership to optimize program performance, quality outcomes, and patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Program Medical Director to ensure effective and efficient operations within the transplant service line.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance program quality, efficiency, and patient outcomes.
- Evaluate clinical and financial program outcomes and manage related grants.
- Collaborate with leadership and external partners to align clinical best practices and financial incentives.
- Lead initiatives that promote seamless, person-centered care across the continuum.
- Facilitate multidisciplinary meetings with program leadership teams.
- Ensure program accreditation and compliance with all applicable agencies and commissions.
- Support participation in CMS Innovation and alternative payment programs.
- Represent the company in local and national organizations, conferences, and professional forums.
- Foster community partnerships that support patient engagement and disease management.
Education & Experience
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Health Administration, or a related field — Required
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Transplant Services and Peritoneal Dialysis operations — Required

- Deep understanding of program standards, scope of practice, and data management systems.
- Expertise in operational leadership, performance metrics, and process improvement.
- Proven success managing multiple clinical teams and operational initiatives.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and educate staff.
- Exceptional communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal—with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability in fiscal management, budgeting, and grant oversight.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and databases).
