Position Overview

The Occupational Therapist (OT) – Inpatient Rehab will provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. This role focuses on patient assessment, individualized treatment planning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and accurate clinical documentation to support positive patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to inpatient rehabilitation patients

• Evaluate patient functional status and develop individualized treatment plans

• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient independence and quality of life

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care

• Document evaluations, treatment plans, patient progress, and outcomes accurately in Cerner

• Participate in on-call coverage as required

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of Illinois

• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation required/preferred

• Ability to work full-time day shifts with on-call responsibilities

• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills

• Effective communication and collaboration skills within an interdisciplinary team

• Proficiency or willingness to learn Cerner electronic medical record system

• Ability to meet guaranteed hour commitments for the duration of the assignment
