Position Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Nights
Location: Mount Clemens, MI
Shift Type: Nights
Shift Schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Hours: 12-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (Friday/Saturday)
On-Call Requirement: None
Assignment Dates: 03/30/2026 – 06/29/2026 (13-week assignment)
Assignment Type: Temp to perm (opportunity to extend or convert to permanent based on business needs)
Pay Rate: $44.50

Position Overview

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides comprehensive respiratory care services to patients requiring emergency, intensive, and therapeutic respiratory support. This role involves invasive and non-invasive monitoring, diagnostic testing, patient education, and equipment management for pulmonary and cardiopulmonary disorders. The position supports quality assurance initiatives and delivers care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide respiratory care services to patients requiring emergency and intensive care

  • Administer therapeutic treatments for pulmonary and cardiopulmonary conditions

  • Perform invasive and non-invasive respiratory monitoring

  • Conduct diagnostic testing and provide patient education

  • Manage ventilators and airway support equipment

  • Perform EKG-related monitoring as required

  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot respiratory therapy equipment

  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years of Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience

  • Comfortable managing ventilators

  • Comfortable performing EKG-related monitoring

  • Active Michigan state Respiratory Therapist license

  • NBRC credential

  • Current ACLS certification

  • Current BLS certification (AHA)

CRT candidates will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous travel experience

Compensation & Benefits

  • $44.50 per hour

  • Benefits available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

  • 401(k) with company match available after 1 year of service
