Customer Order Management Specialist Compensation
- The pay for this position is $25.00 per hour
- Schedule:
- Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CT with a 1-hour lunch
- Hybrid position: Tuesday – Thursday onsite, Monday & Friday remote
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid with flexibility to work from the office or remotely based on preference.

Customer Order Management Specialist Responsibilities
- Order Processing: Ensure accurate order fulfillment by working with distribution centers, managing discrepancies, and maintaining data in ERP systems.
- Customer Support: Professionally handle all customer inquiries, ensuring accurate and timely responses to order issues and requests.
- Logistics Coordination: Work with internal and external stakeholders to support on-time deliveries and resolve any shipping discrepancies.
- ERP System Management: Input, modify, and manage orders in ERP systems, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and regional requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement, and work to enhance service levels and operational efficiency.
- Incident Resolution: Address and escalate any significant order-related issues to the appropriate management levels.
Customer Order Management Specialist Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with ERP systems.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role (export, logistics, order management, customer service).
- Minimum of 2 years’ prior experience in a related industry, such as medical device, healthcare supply chain, or pharmaceutical.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in MS Word, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service and building relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Customer Order Management Specialist Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare supply chain industries is preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are a plus.
- Experience with logistics, export management, and order fulfillment processes is highly desirable.
