Compensation

• The pay for this position is $50 per hour.
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees after 1 year of service on eligibility dates.

Highlights

• This is a contract assignment with potential for extension based on performance and business needs.
• The required availability is Monday through Friday, with on-call rotation every 4 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing care to patients in their homes.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized Plans of Care (POC) to ensure quality outcomes.
• Perform physical, psychosocial, and environmental assessments of patients.
• Administer medications and IV infusions; provide wound care, including wound vac management.
• Educate patients and families on medical conditions, self-care practices, and home safety.
• Supervise and provide guidance to Home Health Aides and other support staff.
• Ensure compliance with third-party payer requirements and maintain accurate documentation.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities, covering Oktibbeha, Winston, and Noxubee Counties.

Requirements

• Current state license as a Registered Nurse is required.
• 1-2 years of clinical RN experience is required.
• Home Health experience, including OASIS (Outcome and Assessment Information Set), is required.
• Homecare Homebase (HCHB) software experience is required.
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and insurance is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Proficiency in wound care and IV infusion is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
• CHPN certification is a plus.

Position Details

• Location: Columbus, MS.
• Travel Area: Starkville and Columbus Counties.
• Shift: Monday through Friday until the shift is complete.
• On-Call Rotation: Every 4 weeks.
• Productivity Units: 30 units per week.
• Guaranteed Hours: None.
