IT Help Desk Specialist Compensation

The pay for this position is $20.90 per hour.

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.

A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with one year of service on our eligibility dates.
IT Help Desk Specialist Highlights

IT Help Desk Specialist Responsibilities

Provide resolution of technology problems escalated from Level 1 Service Desk.

Assist and provide direction to Level 1 Service Desk analysts as needed.

Monitor outstanding issues to ensure response and resolution times are met.

Address and escalate IT requests for customized applications with strong attention to follow-through.

Act as backup for the BrightSpring Genius Bar and stay well-versed in IT solutions.

Provide status updates to IT management and functional areas regarding unresolved requests and system outages.

Act as a liaison between Support Center end users, technical support staff, and IT management.

Perform software installations and data backup/recovery for end users.

Lead and assist on various projects regarding new applications or technology.

Create and maintain knowledge base articles.

Perform other duties as assigned.
IT Help Desk Specialist Requirements

Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a customer support environment with proven desktop technical and training skills.

Professional certifications such as Net+, CCNA, Collab CCNE, HDI, or ITIL are a plus.

Experience with Active Directory, remote desktop tools, and ticketing systems.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Windows 10, Office365) required.

Experience with RingCentral and NICE InContact is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels, including executives.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
IT Help Desk Specialist Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in IT support within a corporate environment.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
