A-Line Staffing is now hiring an IT Service Engineer in Atlanta, GA 30308. The IT Field Service Engineer would be working for a Major Fortune 500 Company and has career growth potential.

IT Service Engineer Highlights:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm

• Pay Range: $40-48 Hourly

IT Service Engineer Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day technical support for network infrastructure, desktop systems, and hardware/software issues

• Install, configure, support, and maintain operating systems and hardware

• Manage hardware orders and asset tracking

• Perform basic backup operator duties

• Collaborate with IT Engineering and Business Groups to support strategies

• Document systems, test solutions, conduct training, and assess deployments

• Maintain systems with current Windows OS, patches, and software upgrades

• Ensure standardization across inventory, configurations, and naming conventions

• Monitor and resolve system issues; coordinate maintenance activities

• Follow change management protocols

• Provide IT onboarding and training for new hires

• Support operational health standards (Security, Performance, Reliability, etc.)

• Offer basic AV and conference room support

• Identify and implement service improvement opportunities

• Test new software for compatibility

• Manage system access and security in compliance with corporate policies

• Respond to automated system compliance alerts

IT Service Engineer Qualifications:

• Experience in desktop/system support and troubleshooting

• HP and Dell laptop support, Jira and Confluence experience a plus
• Basic network troubleshooting a must
• ServiceNow ticketing system

• Strong understanding of Windows OS environments

• Ability to manage hardware and asset processes

• Familiarity with system security protocols and user account management

• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical teams

• Comfortable working both independently and in team environments

• Attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence
