IV Pharmacy Technician / Billing Specialist Summary and Highlights:

The IV Billing Specialist will be an integral member of the Client Billing Center. This role will help with review and provide continued support for the client billing team and systems.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

IV Pharmacy Technician / Billing Specialist Details and Compensation:

• Location: Longmont, CO – Training on site, then remote schedule.
• Payrate: $20.50/hr
• Required Availability: Mon-Fri 8a-430p

IV Pharmacy Technician / Billing Specialist Responsibilities:

• Provide support and training to client billing team and contribute to process improvement in the IV Billing functions and review
• Comfortable with setting clear deadlines and ensuring adherence to timeline. Serve as a liaison between billing team and pharmacies as needed.
• Maintain documentation and prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings; take and distribute detailed notes.
• Understand and educate others on the importance of company’s data standards and work-flow best practices.
• Consult frequently and regularly with the Client Billing Managers to discern best practices and advise on specifics related to IV’s. Relay information discovered by yourself, or feedback submitted by team members about software or associated workflows.
• Ensure accuracy of billing by reviewing plan sheets and contracts for proper pricing of services working closely with Plan Administration
• Works closely with Third Party Operations IV billing to ensure retro changes are handled promptly.

IV Pharmacy Technician / Billing Specialist Requirements:

• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED is required
• Attendance mandatory for first 90 days
• Pharmacy Technician who has worked with IVs – very experienced
• Significant experience in billing IVs preferred
