IV Technician (Pharmacy Technician) Compensation

• The pay for this position is $18.07 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is 7am - 6pm (40 hours per week max)

IV Technician (Pharmacy Technician) Responsibilities

• Performs compounding and any other tasks as required that relate to the dispensing of infusion therapy or as assigned.

IV Technician (Pharmacy Technician) Requirements

• Pharmacy Technician license
• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
• Physical Demands:
• May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day.
• May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day.
• May be necessary to work extended hours as needed.
• Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required.
• May need to lift to thirty (30) pounds on occasion.
• Visual acuity to see and read fine prints.
• Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to hear normal voice sounds.
• The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this role.
• Work Environment: Work in a climate-controlled, smoke-free internal environment. Work with hazardous materials.

IV Technician (Pharmacy Technician) Preferred Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Florida
