Pay Rate: $58.80 per hour (Weekly Pay)
Position Overview:
Join the 2026 Vaccination Initiative as an Immunizing Nurse (RN) providing essential immunization services in a patient-facing retail healthcare setting. Nurses will administer a variety of vaccines, including Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other routine immunizations. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided.
We expect updates on the 2026 vaccination season in the coming weeks, with some assignment start dates as early as 8/23/2026 (timing will vary by location). Assignments are expected to continue through 12/31/2026 and may be extended, converted to a permanent position, or offer the opportunity to return for future vaccination seasons.
Assignment Dates: Approximately 8/23/2026 – 12/31/2026 (varies by location)
Job Type: Temporary with opportunity to extend or convert to permanent based on business needs.
Schedule:

Monday – Friday | 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM

Because this assignment has designated hours, availability during the scheduled days and times is required.

Responsibilities:

Administer immunizations including Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other vaccines.

Safely administer medications while following established clinical protocols.

Qualifications:

Full, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.

Minimum of one (1) year of related nursing experience, including immunizations and direct patient care.

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification preferred.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-
Strong clinical skills, including medication administration and vaccine administration.

Ability and willingness to administer all required vaccines.

Must not be on the DEA Excluded Parties List.

High School Diploma or GED required.
-
Must be comfortable working in an onsite, patient-facing environment.

Previous immunization experience is preferred.
Work Environment:

In-person, patient-facing role.

Onsite assignment.

Fast-paced retail healthcare setting supporting seasonal vaccination efforts.
