Infusion Pharmacist Compensation

• The pay for this position is $64.27 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Infusion Pharmacist Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Overtime is available, and candidates must be flexible for alternating on-call shifts (including weekends and weekdays)
• This is an onsite position in Tulsa, OK 74146

Infusion Pharmacist Responsibilities

• Accept and dispense prescription medications in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Monitor patient medication compliance and overuse patterns
• Maintain legal and ethical standards in medication supply and dispensing
• Assess medication suitability and advise patients on proper usage, potential side effects, and interactions
• Provide consultations on prescription and OTC medications
• Educate patients on medical device use (e.g., glucose meters, blood pressure monitors)
• Prepare sterile solutions and compound medications for internal/external use
• Supervise pharmacy staff (technicians, clerks, interns)
• Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy files
• Manage pharmaceutical inventory and ensure adequate supply levels
• Identify and resolve drug-related problems in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers

Infusion Pharmacist Requirements

• Active Oklahoma Pharmacy License
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
• Previous infusion pharmacy experience is preferred, but not required
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
