Infusion Pharmacist Compensation
• The pay for this position is $48.69 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Infusion Pharmacist Highlights
• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM with overtime as needed. Must be flexible for alternating on-call weekends and during the week.
Infusion Pharmacist Responsibilities
• Accept and dispense prescription medications
• Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns
• Ensure the supply of medicines is within legal regulations
• Verify that prescribed medications are suitable for patients
• Accurately maintain confidential patient records and pharmacy files
• Advise patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions
• Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications
• Educate patients on medical devices such as blood pressure monitors and glucose meters
• Compound medications for internal or external use
• Prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures
• Supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacy technicians and clerks
• Maintain appropriate pharmaceutical and medical supply inventory
• Identify drug-related problems and communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare practitioners
Infusion Pharmacist Requirements
• Active Oklahoma Pharmacy License
• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Infusion Pharmacist Preferred Qualifications
• Infusion pharmacy experience is preferred but not required
