Job description:
The Infusion RN will be responsible for providing professional nursing care for patients, ensuring the administration of chemotherapy and immunotherapy is consistent with established standards. Chemo experience will be given priority, but infusion experience in cancer care is mandatory. The ideal candidate will demonstrate compassion and independence in providing care, while also being an educator to patients and families.
Infusion RN Schedule & Location:

Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Location: Infusion Clinic, Dallas, TX 75231, United States (with potential travel between sites based on clinic needs)
Infusion RN Salary/Wage:
-
Level RN 2 (3-5 years of experience): $37-$39 per hour

Level RN Sr (5+ years of experience): $39-$44 per hour (based on experience)
Infusion RN Duties:
-
Plan, implement, and coordinate patient care consistent with national and company standards.

Administer therapies under the direction of a physician.

Administer medications/blood products with correct dosage, route, and technique.

Ensure pre-authorization and consent forms are obtained as required.

Assess patient needs, modify doses, and consult with physicians as necessary.

Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and maintain central line catheter devices.

Document all patient care and treatments accurately.

Apply knowledge of reimbursement procedures and charge capture.
Infusion RN Required Qualifications:
-
3-5 years of nursing experience (with at least 2 years in oncology)

At least 1 year of experience in infusion, including administering chemotherapy/immunotherapy (chemo experience preferred)

Strong IV skills, experience with port devices, and the ability to work independently

Compassionate, reliable, and capable of educating patients and families

RN state license with the Texas State Board of Nursing
Infusion RN Physical Requirements:
-
Full range of body motion, including lifting patients and manual dexterity.
-
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
-
Occasional lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
-
Corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
Infusion RN Education:
-
Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
-
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
