Interventional Radiology RN Details and Compensation:

• Location: Akron, OH 44304 – 100% on-site
• Payrate: $63/hr
• Required Availability: 4 shifts per week | 730a-6pm
  • Weekday on-call (6:30 PM–7:00 AM) once every week/every other week
  • Weekend on-call rotation every 9-12 weeks

Interventional Radiology RN Summary and Highlights:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Angiography unit. In this role, you will provide and coordinate nursing care within the Radiology Department, assisting with exams, procedures, and treatments. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures, educating patients, and acting as a liaison for families.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

Interventional Radiology RN Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care guided by the nursing process
• Administer moderate to conscious sedation as needed
• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Monitor patient conditions and ensure optimal health outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care

Interventional Radiology RN Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current RN licensure in Ohio
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• 2+ years of clinical experience in: Nuclear medicine, Critical care (ICU, CCU, ER, Cath Lab, SCVICU), Radiation therapy/oncology, or Special procedures or surgical nursing
• 1+ year of recent Epic system experience
• Competency in administering moderate to conscious sedation
• Neuro experience is required
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
