Summary and Highlights:
The Interventional Radiology Technologist operates radiologic equipment to obtain diagnostic radiographs and assists on a technical level during invasive procedures.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

Interventional Radiology Technologist Details and Compensation:
- Location: Akron, OH – 100% on site
- Payrate: $60+/hr – negotiable based on experience
- Required Availability: 4-days per week 7a-530p
Interventional Radiology Technologist Responsibilities:
- Ensures that all aspects of patients' records are processed properly to initiate procedure results in a timely manner.
- Maintains pleasant disposition. Anticipates customer needs and responds readily. Welcomes customers in a friendly manner.
- Communicates with courtesy, clarity, and care; Always identifies self and department when placing and receiving calls.
- Remains calm when communicating difficult situations; acknowledges and apologizes to customers when delays have occurred.
- Sensitive to cultural, age, gender, education, and religious diversity, and communicates in a manner respectful to others.
Interventional Radiology Technologist Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Attendance mandatory for first 90 days
- Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current license to practice the art of Radiologic Technology in the State of Ohio
- Certification by the ARRT in Vascular Interventional Radiography a plus
- 2+ year experience as a working Tech is required
