Pharmacy Inventory Coordinator | Details and Compensation:
  • Location: Raleigh, NC – 100% on-site
  • Payrate: $16.86/hr
  • Required Availability: Mon-Fri 1030a-730p

Pharmacy Inventory Coordinator | Summary and Highlights:

This is a full-time, weekday-only position, offering consistent hours and a collaborative work environment.
  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Pharmacy Inventory Coordinator | Responsibilities:
  • Manage purchasing and inventory processes for medications and office supplies
  • Order medications and supplies through platforms such as ABC, Amazon, Staples, McKesson, etc., while adhering to budget guidelines
  • Track drug/supply availability and pricing, and order suitable alternatives when needed
  • Receive and organize deliveries, ensuring proper shelving and inventory placement
  • Monitor out-of-stock (OOS) items and coordinate with team members to replenish low-stock items
  • Conduct cycle counts and monitor expiration dates of inventory within a 2-month window
  • Handle all applicable drug recalls and process returns accordingly
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with all pharmacy staff to ensure smooth daily operations

Pharmacy Inventory Coordinator | Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
  • Active and valid NC pharmacy tech license required
  • Moderate to advanced pharmacy technician experience, preferably in a retail setting (CVS, Walgreens, etc.) required
  • Prior experience in purchasing and inventory management required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
