A-Line Staffing is now hiring LPN / LVN in Washington, PA 15301.The LPN / LVN would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

LPN / LVN Compensation
  • The pay for this position is $32.00 per hour
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
LPN / LVN Highlights
  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • The required availability for this position is 8 hr, any shift rotating weekends  
LPN / LVN Responsibilities
  • The LPN is prepared to function as a member of the healthcare team by exercising sound nursing judgment based on preparation, knowledge, experience in nursing, and competency. The LPN participates in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care using focused assessment in settings where nursing takes place.
  • An LPN shall communicate with a licensed professional nurse and the patient’s health care team members to seek guidance when:
    • The patient’s care needs exceed the licensed practical nursing scope of practice.
    • The patient’s care needs surpass the LPN’s knowledge, skill, or ability.
    • The patient’s condition deteriorates or there is a significant change in condition, the patient is not responding to therapy, the patient becomes unstable or the patient needs immediate assistance.
    • An LPN shall obtain instruction and supervision if implementing new or unfamiliar nursing practices or procedures
  • Patient documentation is comprehensive and promotes communication between caregivers.
  • Creates a caring and compassionate patient-focused experience by building healing relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Provides detailed and appropriate teaching to patients and families to effectively guide them through the episode of care as well as transition to another level of care and/or home.
LPN / LVN Requirements
  • Must hold an LPN license in the state of PA
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
LPN / LVN Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior LPN experience
