A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse in the White Bear Lake MN 55110 area. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

Licensed Practical Nurse Hours

• This is starting at 30 hours per week up to a possible 40 hours, and may require floating to other nearby locations and working rotating weekends and some major and minor holidays
• Must be flexible to work any day of the week

Hours of Operation are 7 days a week:

• M-F is 8:30-7:30 with 1 hour lunch
• Sat is 9-5:30 with 30 min lunch
• Sun is 9-4:30 with 30 min lunch

Licensed Practical Nurse Compensation

• The pay for this position is $33.79 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities

• LPN to work in primary care settings with ages 18 months and older
• Provide holistic, evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients. This includes education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection ( STI ) Prevention and safer sex practices.
• Administer immunizations and injections (to include but not limited to COVID19, influenza, TB) and provides evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection services
• Assess patients during intake
• Take vital signs
• Perform diagnostic tests such as EKG , Retinopathy screening
• Perform Point of care testing (including COVID testing)
• Perform patient registration and intake, assist with wait room management and other responsibilities to enhance the patient experience.
• Order equipment and prepare the clinic for the best patient experience
• Help meet our mission to help people on their path to better health by providing excellent patient-focused connections and activities

Licensed Practical Nurse Requirements

• Licensed LPN
• Previous experience administering immunizations and injections and providing evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
• Ability to take vital signs
• Basic Life Support ( BLS ) certification, including but not limited to performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator ( AED ).
• Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol is required.
• Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room.
• Previous experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Record
