Licensed Vocational Nurse LVN / LPN Compensation

• The pay for this position is $30.41 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Licensed Vocational Nurse LVN / LPN Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is: This is a full time contingent position, starting at 30 hours per week up to a possible 40 hours, and may require floating to other nearby locations and working alternating weekends
• Clinic hours are 8:30 AM – 7:30 PM M-F, and 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM on Saturday and 9:00am-4:30pm Sunday
• Will be working 3-4 shifts during the week and every other weekend

Licensed Vocational Nurse LVN / LPN Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients. This includes education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection (STI) Prevention and safer sex practices.
• Administer immunizations and injections (to include but not limited to COVID19, influenza, TB) and provides evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection services
• Assess patients during intake
• Take vital signs
• Perform diagnostic tests such as EKG, Retinopathy screening
• Perform Point of care testing (including COVID testing)
• Perform patient registration and intake, assist with wait room management and other responsibilities to enhance the patient experience.
• Order equipment and prepare the clinic for the best patient experience

Licensed Vocational Nurse LVN / LPN Requirements

• Minimum of one-year related work experience in a healthcare setting
• Experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record
• Ability to take vital signs, perform phlebotomy blood draws and perform Point of Care Testing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including but not limited to performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
• Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol is required.
• Active and in good standing LPN/LVN in the state in which you are working
• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
