Job Description

A-Line Staffing is now hiring an LTC Closed Door Pharmacist in Milwaukee, WI.
This is a contract-to-hire position with the potential for career growth. This role will primarily support evening shifts with occasional Saturdays.

Pharmacist Compensation

  • Pay Rate: $64.27 per hour

  • Shift Differential:

    • 2nd Shift: +$2.50/hour

    • 3rd Shift: +$6.00/hour

  • Overtime: 1.5x base rate (average of Shifts 1-3 ST)

  • Double Time: 2x base rate (average of Shifts 1-3 ST)


Pharmacist Highlights

  • Evening Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM, Monday – Friday, with potential for Saturday

  • Licensed by the Wisconsin State Pharmacy Board (RPh license required)

  • Full-time: 40 hours/week


Pharmacist Responsibilities

  • Accept and dispense prescription medications.

  • Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns.

  • Ensure the supply of medicines is within legal requirements.

  • Verify that prescribed medications are suitable for patients.

  • Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and pharmacy files.

  • Advise patients on medications, including usage, side effects, and interactions.

  • Provide consultation for prescription and non-prescription medications.

  • Deliver patient services such as smoking cessation support, blood pressure checks, and cholesterol management.

  • Educate patients on proper use of medical devices (e.g., blood pressure monitors, glucose meters).

  • Compound medications for external or internal use and prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures.

  • Supervise pharmacy staff, including technicians and clerks.

  • Maintain appropriate pharmaceutical and medical inventory.

  • Identify drug-related problems and communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacy interns, and other staff as required.


Pharmacist Requirements

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required.

  • Licensed by the Wisconsin State Pharmacy Board (RPh license).

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to supervise pharmacy staff and manage pharmacy operations effectively.


Location: Milwaukee, WI

Hours: 40 hours per week
