A-Line Staffing is now hiring LTC Pharmacist (4 x 10 hours) . The LTC Pharmacist would be working for a healthcare pharmacy organization and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

LTC Pharmacist Compensation

• The pay for this position is $64.27 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

LTC Pharmacist Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required schedule is Monday–Friday, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts on a rotating weekly schedule. Shifts will vary between 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM and 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM

LTC Pharmacist Responsibilities

• Accept and dispense prescription medications in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Monitor patient medication adherence and identify overuse or misuse patterns
• Ensure medications prescribed are clinically appropriate and legally compliant
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and pharmacy files
• Provide counseling to patients on medication use, side effects, interactions, and storage
• Offer consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications, including dosage and safety guidance
• Provide supportive patient services such as smoking cessation, blood pressure monitoring, and cholesterol management
• Educate patients on proper use of medical devices such as blood pressure monitors and glucose meters
• Compound non-sterile medications and prepare sterile solutions following established procedures when required
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Maintain pharmaceutical and medical supply inventory levels
• Identify and resolve drug-related problems in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and pharmacy interns to ensure coordinated patient care
• Ensure compliance with all state pharmacy board regulations

LTC Pharmacist Requirements

• Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the state pharmacy board
• Ability to work rotating 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

LTC Pharmacist Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in long-term care pharmacy or clinical pharmacy settings
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Experience supporting medication management for complex patient populations
