LTC Pharmacy Technician Compensation
• The pay for this position is $24.45 to $26.95 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

LTC Pharmacy Technician Highlights
• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is 5 days a week, with rotating weekends. The shifts available are:

• Day: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM 

• Mid: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM 

• Evening: 2:30 PM - 11:30 PM 

LTC Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities
• Work under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to fill prescriptions and prepare IVs
• Enter data into the computer system to fill prescriptions and obtain reimbursement payment in coordination with the Billing Supervisor
• Assist in prepackaging medications for dispensing according to standards and government regulations
• Help the Pharmacist in final checking of filled prescriptions, including stating medication for final review or post-review packaging, and ensuring accurate and timely delivery to the customer
• Maintain good inventory practices, including receiving and rotating medications and supplies, posting lot numbers, expiration dates, and assisting with physical inventory
• Help maintain a clean and safe work environment, including checking equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness

LTC Pharmacy Technician Requirements
• Must have a Maine Pharmacy Technician License
• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

LTC Pharmacy Technician Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience in pharmacy or healthcare settings is preferred
