Job Description

A-Line Staffing is now hiring LVNs in Waco, TX! The LVN would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

LVN Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $32 per hour (pay increases for weekend shifts)
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

LVN Highlights

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • The available shifts for this position are:
    • Weekend doubles with the option for (1) 8-hour shift during the week
      • OR
    • Monday-Friday, 2:00pm-10:30pm

LVN Responsibilities

  • Performs routine LVN work.
  • Prepares and administers medication.
  • Transcribes physician’s orders.
  • Performs focused care & treatment of clients.
  • Documentation: patient behaviors, medication administration, condition changes and other changes
  • Maintains accountability of medication.
  • Provides education to client and/or family.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Registered Nurse, Chief Nurse Executive and or Assistant Nurse Executive.

LVN Requirements

  • Active LVN license for the state of Texas (multistate included)
  • 1+ years’ experience as a practical nurse
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

LVN Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior psychiatric healthcare experience a plus
