Pay: $35-$40 an hr | Bi-Weekly
Job Type: Part-Time / Contract (30 hours/week)
Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Shift: Monday – Friday, 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) – Corrections Position Overview:
Seeking a Connecticut Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to assist with the admission process for incarcerated male individuals. This role focuses on conducting clinical mental health intakes, suicide risk assessments, diagnostic assessments, and initial treatment plan development. The LCSW may also coordinate acute care admissions with nursing personnel and communicate with the on-call psychiatrist as needed.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) – Corrections Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct biopsychosocial intakes for incoming incarcerated individuals.
- Perform suicide risk assessments and initial diagnostic evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Coordinate with nursing staff and on-call psychiatrists regarding acute care admissions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, evaluations, and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with Connecticut state regulations and facility policies.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) – Corrections Qualifications / Requirements:
- Current and unrestricted Connecticut LCSW licensure.
- Experience conducting clinical mental health intakes, suicide risk assessments, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Ability to independently develop treatment plans.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Familiarity with correctional or forensic populations preferred.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) – Corrections Preferred Skills:
- Experience coordinating care in multi-disciplinary settings.
- Knowledge of crisis intervention and suicide prevention protocols.
