A-Line Staffing is now hiring Licensed Practical Nurses in Gallipolis, OH. The LPN would be working for a state-operated developmental center and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

Licensed Practical Nurse Compensation

The pay for this position is $30.00 per hour

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Licensed Practical Nurse Highlights

This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

The required availability for this position is 2:30pm – 11:00pm, rotating schedule including weekends
Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities
-
Administer nursing care under the direction of an RN or licensed physician

Perform skilled practical nursing procedures and treatments (e.g., vital signs, wound care, enteral feedings, catheter insertion, suctioning, oxygen therapy, medication administration)

Document patient conditions and responses, and report accordingly
-
Maintain accountability records (e.g., MARs, patient charts, incident reports)

Monitor and assist in maintaining medication inventory and supplies
-
Provide general nursing care and first aid; respond to emergencies

Support and guide lower-level direct care staff

Attend and support medical appointments and participate in care planning meetings
Licensed Practical Nurse Requirements

Active Ohio LPN License
-
CPR Certification
-
COVID-19 vaccine card or exemption letter
-
Mandatory attendance for the first 90 days

Submissions must include: Resume, Cover Letter, RTR, CPR Certification, COVID Vaccine Card or Exemption Letter, Ohio Medical License

If selected, candidate must complete BCI fingerprinting, TB test (within 30 days), drug screen (NDOT 9 Panel), and a physical exam prior to start
