Licensed Therapist Compensation

• The pay for this position is $45.00 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Licensed Therapist Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position 8a – 4pm (30 min lunch)

Licensed Therapist Responsibilities

• Provide counseling and mental health services to individuals at the Selinsgrove Center
• Evaluate and provide treatment or interventions for individuals based on their presenting needs
• Provide group and individual therapy
• Provide support services to the treatment team by reviewing care plans and working with team members to provide appropriate interventions to address the behaviors of distressed individual
• Provide crisis intervention when the need arise
• Will provide in-service training as needed to the staff at the center concerning psychological needs and crisis intervention
• Will attend treatment meetings as requested/needed

Licensed Therapist  Requirements

• A master’s degree in education, psychology, social work, or another related field.
• Must be licensed in Pennsylvania as an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker).
• At least 5 years of experience providing therapeutic services to individuals with dual diagnoses of IDD and MH.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Licensed Therapist  Preferred Qualifications

• Must be a team player and ability to multi-task
