Job Description
A-Line Staffing Solutions is now hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse in Plano, TX! The LVN would be working for an Oncology Medical Center, full-time / 40 hours per week.
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Job Highlights
- Pay Range: $28 - $30 per hour - PAID WEEKLY!
- Day Shift: Monday - Friday, 10AM to 7PM - no weekends, no holidays, no on-call!
- Location: Plano, TX
Job Responsibilities:
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
- Assists with the preparation of equipment and aids physician during treatment, examination and testing of patients.
- Records patient data prior to each physician visit, including but not limited to, vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.
- Performs other administrative duties, i.e., scheduling, chart preparation, reception, etc., as requested by supervisor or physician.
Qualifications
- Experience as a practical nurse in a hospital or clinic setting preferred
- Current LVN state license and registration with the State Board of Practical Nursing in practicing state (Texas Board of Nursing).
- Current CPR certification required.
