LTC Pharmacist Compensation
• The pay for this position is $64.27 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

LTC Pharmacist Highlights
• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required schedule is Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST (Onsite)

LTC Pharmacist Responsibilities
• Perform initial and final script reviews, fill prescriptions, and take orders from providers
• Verify Omnicell orders and restocks
• Provide accurate and efficient sterile compounding (preferred but not required)
• Accept and dispense prescription medications
• Monitor patient medication compliance and manage over-usage concerns
• Maintain and ensure legal supply of medications and proper storage
• Keep accurate and confidential patient records and pharmacy documentation
• Educate patients on medication use, side effects, and device handling
• Supervise pharmacy staff, including technicians and clerks
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and manage medical supplies
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare providers

LTC Pharmacist Requirements
• Active Maryland Pharmacist License (RPh)
• Sterile compounding certification preferred
• High level of efficiency and adaptability in a busy environment
• Must be a team player, quick to adapt, and function well in a dual-pharmacy setting
• Strong communication skills
• Minimum Doctor of Pharmacy degree required
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in long-term care or non-retail environments preferred
• Comfortable in fast-paced, high-volume pharmacy settings
• Flexibility and openness to change are essential
