Long Term Care Pharmacist Compensation

  • Pay Rate: $64.27 per hour

  • Benefits: Available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

  • 401(k): With company match after 1 year of service

Long Term Care Pharmacist Highlights

  • Location: Fridley, MN

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday

    • Variable weekly shifts: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM, 11:30 AM–8:00 PM

  • Contract Assignment: Potential for long-term opportunity based on performance and business needs

  • Hours: 40 hours/week, 8 hours/day

Long Term Care Pharmacist Responsibilities

  • Dispense and verify prescription medications

  • Monitor patient compliance and potential overuse

  • Maintain legal and ethical medication supply standards

  • Provide patient counseling on prescription and OTC meds

  • Educate patients on proper use of medical devices

  • Compound and prepare medications (including sterile solutions)

  • Supervise pharmacy staff (technicians, clerks, interns)

  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals

  • Maintain and manage pharmacy inventory

  • Maintain confidential patient records

Long Term Care Pharmacist Requirements

  • Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)

  • License: Current Minnesota Pharmacist License

  • Experience: At least 1 year preferred

  • Attendance: Mandatory during first 90 days
