Job Description
Job Title: Long-Term Care (LTC) Staff Pharmacist – 2nd Shift (W2 Contract)
Location: Norfolk, VA 23513 (On-site)
Pay: $60–$65/hr (W2)
Schedule: 40 hrs/week | Shifts TBD (most likely 8:00am–4:30pm and/or 3:30pm–12:00am) + rotating weekends

About the Role
Pharmacy Services in Norfolk, VA is seeking 2 Staff Pharmacists to support Long Term Care (LTC) facilities across Virginia. This is an on-site, full-time schedule W2 contract opportunity.
What You’ll Do
- Verify new/refill labels and orders for completeness and accuracy
- Ensure correct medication packaging/labeling (including emergency kits and IV meds)
- Maintain resident medication profiles and documentation
- Support controlled substance ordering, handling, storage, and inventory compliance
- Provide clinical support to internal teams and external customers
- Prepare and/or supervise sterile IV products as needed
- Participate in evening/weekend/holiday rotation as required
- Follow all state/federal regulations and HIPAA requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist license in good standing (state of practice)
- Strong accuracy and efficiency in dispensing/verification
- Ability to work flexible hours (evenings/weekends/holidays as needed)
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Comfort with Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Long Term Care pharmacy
- FrameworkLTC experience
- IV admixture/IV therapy knowledge
- Management experience (preferred)
- 1+ year production pharmacist or 2+ years acute-care experience (preferred)
