RN Summary and Highlights:
The MICU RN is responsible for the delivery of care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interacts with patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

RN Details and Compensation:
- Location: Akron, OH – 100% on site
- Payrate: $40+/hr - based on experience
- Required Availability: Nights, some weekends, full-time
RN Responsibilities:
- This is a 26 bed Medical ICU
- Independent in obtaining labs and initiating IVs
- Will float to neuro ICU and to tele units
- Ratios are usually 1:1 or 1:2 but can go up to 1:3 depending on acuity of the patients.
RN Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing - Associate Degree or Diploma required.
- Attendance mandatory for first 90 days
- 2+ year of relevant experience
- Current OH RN License and BLS+ACLS+NIH required.
