Job Title: MRI Technician

Location: Morristown NJ 07960 

Hours: 4 schedules available 

• Thursdays, Friday, and Saturdays 11am-11pm
• Saturday, Sunday 8am-8pm, and Monday 11am-11pm
• Monday - Friday 3pm-11pm
• Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 3pm-11pm, and Saturday and Sun 8am-4pm

Pay: $60.00 - $63.00 per hour

Scheduled Pay: Bi Weekly

MRI Tech Responsibilities

• Consult with the radiologist
• Calibrate and adjust equipment for each image
• Communicate with patient to go over medical history and answer questions
• Make sure the patient gets into and maintains the right position using immobilization or support devices
• Prepare contrast agent and inject via IV
• Minimize radiation exposure to patient, self and other staff
• Monitor patient’s well-being during scan
• Evaluate MRI scan for quality 
• Maintain imaging equipment
• Assist with clerical functions

MRI Technician Requirements

• Graduate of Accredited Radiology Program NJ State RT License
• Active Unencumbered MRI Tech state NJ license
• 1 year experience as a MRI Technician
