A-Line Staffing Solutions is urgently hiring an MRI Technologist in Wyandotte, MI! This is a full-time opportunity with an acute care hospital that offers room for growth opportunities. Full-Time / 40 hours per week.

MRI Technologist Job Highlights

• Pays: $40 - $43 per hour + Health Benefits after 90 days!  
• Day shift, rotating schedule, working 40 hours per week!
• Contract opportunity with potential to convert to permanent. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Run the magnetic resonance imaging scanner to create a diagnostic image for the physician.
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure that their patients are protected and in an optimal position for imaging.
• Must work closely with the physician by taking medical histories, keeping records and adjusting the scanner as directed.

Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Applied Science; Two (2) years of experience as a Technologist in Imaging Services preferred
• Must meet one of the following: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography. Must become registered in MRI within two (2) years of date of hire in the MRI department. If a technologist fails to become registered in MRI within 2 years of their MRI hire date, he/she will be terminated from the MRI Tech position.
• Transfer to an alternate role in another modality such as General X-ray or CT may be offered depending on the candidate’s ability to meet minimum job requirements, availability of open positions, and requires the approval of the area’s supervisor, manager, and/or department director; Completion of an accredited MRI program and ARRT registered in MRI.

Skills:

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography. Must become registered in MRI within two (2) years of date of hire in the MRI department - Required

Education:

• Associate’s Degree in Applied Science - Required

• BLS Required 

 Shift Hours: Rotating Shifts 9a-9p M-F, 8a-430p Weekends, 2-8's and 2-12's per week for 40 hours total.
