Machine Operator | Details and Compensation:
- Location: Cockeysville, MD 21031 – 100% on-site
- Please Note: This location is not accessible by public transit
- Payrate: $18/hr
- Required Availability: Mon-Thurs 6a-430p
Machine Operator | Summary and Highlights:
The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating automated production equipment, performing inspections, troubleshooting basic issues, and supporting the production of high-quality medical or industrial products in a clean and regulated environment.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Machine Operator | Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate a variety of manufacturing equipment, including automated machinery.
- Perform routine production tasks such as filling, packing, assembling, labeling, and inspecting.
- Troubleshoot basic equipment and product issues and conduct preventative maintenance (PM).
- Monitor product quality using prescribed gauges, diagrams, and procedures.
- Document quality, safety, and maintenance activities according to GMP and ISO standards.
- Rotate into various tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Machine Operator | Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (Verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience OR an AA technical degree with 0 years’ experience
- Ability to read, write, and understand English, perform basic arithmetic, and follow instructions
- Experience in a regulated environment (FDA, GMP, ISO) preferred.
- Basic math and computer proficiency (Windows environment).
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to work flexible or extended hours.
