MACHINE OPERATOR | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Cockeysville MD 21031 – 100% On-site
- Payrate: $18.45/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
MACHINE OPERATOR | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Machine Operator will set up and operate automated production equipment to perform essential assembly-line functions, including filling, packing, labeling, and inspecting. You will play a key part in ensuring our products meet FDA and ISO quality standards while working in a collaborative, team-based environment.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
MACHINE OPERATOR | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Equipment Operation: Set up and operate a variety of production machinery and automated processes; troubleshoot and resolve basic performance or quality issues.
- Production Functions: Perform routine tasks such as filling, assembling, packing, and labeling products under general supervision.
- Compliance & Quality: Maintain accurate logs and records in accordance with FDA, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and ISO9000 standards.
- Maintenance & Safety: Identify the need for minor equipment repairs and ensure all safety and housekeeping policies are strictly followed.
- Process Improvement: Assist with root-cause analysis for product exceptions and monitor quality through established control procedures.
- Sanitization: Periodically perform clean-up functions in sterilized areas to maintain a controlled production environment.
MACHINE OPERATOR | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- 1+ years of relevant experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read, write, and interpret English specifications; basic math proficiency for calculations.
- Flexibility: Must be available for overtime during the week and on weekends to meet business needs.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and a willingness to rotate through different tasks and responsibilities.
