MACHINE OPERATOR | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Cockeysville MD 21031 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $18.45/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- Overtime: Must be available for one 12-hour shift per week and occasional Saturday overtime.
- Training: Mandatory first-week onboarding held Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
MACHINE OPERATOR | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Machine Operator will perform routine production functions including filling, utility operations, packing, and assembly. This is a high-compliance environment where maintaining accurate records in accordance with quality standards (FDA, GMP, and ISO) is essential.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
MACHINE OPERATOR | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform production tasks such as assembling, labeling, packing, and inspecting products.
- Operate machinery and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) under general supervision.
- Maintain precise logs and records to ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, and ISO9000 regulations.
- Collaborate effectively within a team setting to meet daily production goals and objectives.
- Perform basic math calculations and interpret technical specifications written in English.
- Rotate through different tasks and responsibilities as needed by the production schedule.
MACHINE OPERATOR | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- 1+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and the ability to follow prescribed technical steps.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with Team Leads and coworkers.
