MACHINE OPERATOR | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Cockeysville MD 21031 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $18/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday–Thursday, 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Required onboarding/training schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM for one week
- Overtime may be required based on production needs
MACHINE OPERATOR | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Machine Operator will support manufacturing operations in a production environment. This role involves operating automated equipment, monitoring product quality, completing documentation, and assisting with troubleshooting and routine maintenance activities.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
MACHINE OPERATOR | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment and automated processes
- Perform filling, packing, assembling, labeling, and inspection tasks
- Troubleshoot basic machine and production issues
- Conduct in-process quality inspections and remove defective materials
- Complete production, quality, safety, and maintenance documentation accurately
- Assist with preventative maintenance and minor equipment repairs
- Follow GMP, safety, and operating procedures at all times
- Support team production goals and maintain a clean work environment
- Rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as needed
MACHINE OPERATOR | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- 1+ years of manufacturing experience
- Machine operation experience required
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and understand instructions, diagrams, and specifications in English
- Basic math and computer skills required
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
