MACHINE OPERATOR | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

  • Location: Cockeysville MD 21031 – 100% on-site
  • Payrate: $18.45/hr
  • Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
    • Mandatory one-week onboarding program on first shift hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM).

MACHINE OPERATOR | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Machine Operator will support manufacturing operations in a regulated production environment. This role is responsible for operating, setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment while ensuring product quality, safety, and compliance with established procedures.

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

MACHINE OPERATOR | RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set up, operate, and monitor automated production equipment.
  • Adjust machine settings and perform routine equipment checks.
  • Inspect products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Identify and remove defective materials or products.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and assist with minor equipment repairs.
  • Support preventive maintenance activities.
  • Complete quality, safety, and production documentation accurately.
  • Assist with root-cause investigations for process or product issues.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and established operating procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

MACHINE OPERATOR | REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
  • Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
  • 2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to work independently and follow documented procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency in a Windows environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Additional Information: Safety shoes are required.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and production documentation.
