MACHINE OPERATOR | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Cockeysville MD 21031 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $18.45/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 2pm-10:30pm
- Overtime may be required based on production demands
MACHINE OPERATOR | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining automated production equipment while ensuring products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
MACHINE OPERATOR | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up, operate, and monitor automated manufacturing equipment
- Adjust machine settings to maintain quality and production efficiency
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and identify minor repair needs
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues under general supervision
- Inspect products and materials throughout the production process
- Remove defective products and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions
- Complete quality, safety, and maintenance documentation accurately
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures
- Support assembly, filling, packaging, labeling, and inspection operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
MACHINE OPERATOR | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to recognize process deviations and take appropriate action
- Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English
- Ability to analyze charts and follow simple diagrams
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer proficiency, including Windows-based systems
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
- Ability to work within established manufacturing and quality procedures
- Safety-toe shoes required
