MACHINE OPERATOR | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Cockeysville MD 21031 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $18.45/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 2pm-10:30pm
- Possible weekends
- Training: Candidates must be available to train on 1st shift for approximately 3 months.
- Initial onboarding is Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM for one week, and attendance is required.
MACHINE OPERATOR | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Machine Operator will set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot automated production equipment while ensuring products meet quality standards. This position is ideal for candidates with manufacturing experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
MACHINE OPERATOR | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up, operate, and adjust automated manufacturing equipment
- Perform minor machine maintenance and preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot basic equipment and production issues
- Inspect products throughout the manufacturing process
- Remove defective materials and ensure quality standards are met
- Use gauges, fixtures, and measuring tools to verify product specifications
- Complete quality, safety, and maintenance documentation accurately
- Assist with basic root-cause investigations for production issues
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety procedures, and standard operating procedures
- Perform production area cleanup and other assigned duties
MACHINE OPERATOR | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Comfortable reading charts, following diagrams, and performing basic math calculations
- Safety shoes required
